In the previous episode, Choi Young personally strapped a dagger to Eun Soo's ankle in case she would find the need to physically defend herself. After seeing Eun Soo walk around uncomfortably due to the weight of the dagger, Choi Young goes into the village and buys a small and beautiful dagger to give to Eun Soo as a gift.
Also, there are a couple of instance in which the viewers are able to assume that Eun Soo has now occupied a significant place in Choi Young's heart. For instance, Choi Young hesitates on a street corner after looking at the blood splattered on his clothing from when he finished off the seven assassins while thinking about how Eun Soo hates the smell of blood. Also, after seeing Eun Soo afraid of Ki Chul (Yoo Oh Sung) due to a trauma related to him, Choi Young goes to see Hwa Su In (Shin Eun Jung) to warn her not to come near Eun Soo.
Following that, Choi Young has been showing an unreserved spirit to send Eun Soo back to her time because of his king's statement saying that things could improve for them if they were to hand her over to Ki Chul and after seeing Deok Heung Gun approach threateningly.
Meanwhile, the broadcast on this day ended with Choi Young being falsely accused of accepting a bribe, bringing a different twist in the plot and the audiences to the edge of their seats.
