Netizens claim the first episode of 'The Legend of the Blue Sea' plagiarized 'Sherlock'

The highly anticipated drama, 'The Legend of the Blue Sea' aired its first episode on November 16, exciting fans of Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun, the main actors of the TV series.
However, some netizens noticed that some parts of the drama seemed to have copied the British TV series, 'Sherlock.' Using text overlays over different parts of a person's body while profiling that person was used in 'Sherlock' long before the Korean drama.

Interestingly, 'The Legend of the Blue Sea' writer was also the writer for 'You Who Came from the Stars' who has been accused of plagiarizing a foreign drama before.

Netizens noticed this similarity back when the drama was airing. Some people defended the writer, saying that it is probably the producer and director's fault for portraying the scene this way, but someone found the script, which details how the writer asks the scene to be filmed.

What do you think about these similarities? Are they just coincidence or is the writer watching too much British and American dramas?
