South Korean actor Lee Min Ho met with local fans in Malaysia on Friday as part of events sponsored by Korean ecommerce company 11street.
Around 2,000 fans gathered at NU Sentral shopping center in Kuala Lumpur to get a glimpse of the A-list South Korean actor.
Among the guests at the event were Malaysian business and political tycoons, as well as the South Korean ambassador to Malaysia.
Lee, 28, is considered a representative Hallyu star in Malaysia after the 2009 rom-com “Boys over Flowers,” featuring Lee as a key character, gained popularity there.
Lee recently launched his Instagram account, snapping up more than 400,000 followers in less than a week.
