Lee Min Ho Donates 50 Million Won to Holt International Children’s Services
Actor Lee Min Ho had opened a donation platform ‘PROMIZ‘ in June 2014 to make a path for donations and helping the needy people.
‘PROMIZ’ comes from the word ‘Promise’ combine with the actor’s name and ‘MINOZ,’ the official fan club name of Lee Min Ho. There have been lots of contributions via PROMIZ and on February 19, Holt International Children’s Services announced about the social contribution agreement with PROMIZ.
Since 2014, Lee Min Ho-PROMIZ and Holt International Children’s Services have been collaborating and carrying out campaigns for the good cause. And this year with a donation of 50 million won, their relationship has surpassed another level and has made way for even more bigger projects in future.
The Chairman of Holt International Children’s Services Kim Dae Yeol expressed his gratitude to have paired up with PROMIZ and appreciated Lee Min Ho for his kindness and charitable work. He also conveyed his desire to collaborate in future and be a helping hand towards the betterment of the society.
Lee Min Ho had started a campaign on healthy water resources as the first project under PROMIZ and also donated 50 thousand dollars to dig wells in Africa in September 2014 and to Nepal Earthquake relief in May 2015.
Holt International Children’s Services was founded in 1956 with a vision to provide critical care and support to orphaned and vulnerable children; and leading the global community in finding families for children who need them and providing the pre- and post-adoption support and resources they need to thrive. They also provide the basic facilities to people with disabilities, single parents and those who are poverty ridden. They have branches in many other countries like Cambodia, Thailand, India, Mongolia and many more which also gives way for adoption as well.

Lee Min Ho Donates to Holt International Children’s Services
On February 19, Holt International Children’s Services revealed that they had agreed to a social contribution agreement with the donation platform PROMIZ.
PROMIZ is the official charity brand created by actor Lee Min Ho and functions as a donation platform that promises to create a more caring, giving world.
Since 2014, PROMIZ has paired with Holt International Children’s Services in order to help children in need all over the country. This new agreement between the two charities is accompanied by a donation of 50 million won (about $40,550).
The chairman of Holt International, Kim Dae Yeol, said, “We’re happy that Holt International, who believes children are the most beautiful when they are loved, will be pairing up with PROMIZ in this endeavor. We hope that this can be a good opportunity for Lee Min Ho to officially share his generosity and continue his charitable work.”
Holt International Children’s Services began in 1955 as an adoption service to help the children who had been hurt and/or orphaned by the war. Since then they have expanded to provide welfare to single parents, people with disabilities, and community welfare in cases of poverty. They have also expanded operations to Mongolia, Cambodia, and Tanzania in order to provide comprehensive social welfare institutions and professional social services to underprivileged children with international support.
