Apple Daily reported that his fan spent around 4 million won on a well-known brand of chocolates -- without naming the company -- to win the chance to take a photo with the actor.
Three people were picked from customers, who purchased the brand’s chocolates, to get an opportunity to meet Lee, but the fan did not win despite the huge amount she spent.
According to the news reports, she had doubts about the draw process and protested, asking the agency to review see the clip of the draw. But, she did not get any reply from the company.
Meanwhile, Lee left Korea for Taiwan on Monday to attend an event related to the brand’s promotion in Taipei on Wednesday afternoon.
