Lee Min Ho triumphed over the typhoon.

Lee Min Ho successfully ended his global tour 2014 Re:Minho on October 12 and 13 in Tokyo International Forum Hall with 10,000 fans.

Re:Minho held over two days on October 12 and 13 was held with all the seats filled up despite the effects of a typhoon. The concert was carried out with the fans standing up to sing and dance as they shouted out Lee Min Ho’s name in the festival-like atmosphere.

Starting the concert by singing the OST of The Heirs titled Painful Love, Lee Min Ho greeted his Japanese fans by saying, “It’s been a long time. I missed you.”

He then sang My Everything and Pieces of Love from his first album and revealed the video showing his preparation for his Asia tour last year as well as his new album Song For You.

If the first half of the event was themed ‘memory,’ the second half was completely different to suit the title of ‘Re:Minho.’ Lee Min Ho sang Song For You, Paradise In Love, Stalker, Burning Up and Travel from his second album Song For You along with a band specially put together for the concert and presented a collaboration performance along with the rock band Royal Pilots, who was invited as the guest.

Lee Min Ho said, “It is an album that I prepared in order to return the love of the fans,” as he continuously worked hard to take a step closer to the fans. He made his way to every corner of the stage while singing live to meet eyes with the fans and jumping up and down with them.

Since the concert held the meaning of a new beginning, Lee Min Ho showed his dynamic charms, both powerful and sentimental.

He also carried out a special event along with the fans. He made and gifted the fans with ‘dream catchers’ that appear in the drama The Heirs and watched the video for his charity platform ‘PMZ’ along with the fans, expressing his gratitude.

Meanwhile, his second album Song For You released on October 9 ranked number one on Oricon’s daily album chart.

About this, Lee Min Ho said, “I wanted to include the reason why I sing and prepare an album that I needed for a concert so I can reminisce with the fans. It was an album that I prepared in order to return the love of the fans but I feel like I’m the one that has been gifted.”

An affiliate of the concert stated, “Interacting with the fans around the world by going out of his frame as a top star is the reason why Lee Min Ho is called the ‘pioneer of hallyu wave,’”adding, “I applaud for Lee Min Ho who consistently work hard to make meaningful transformation for the fans and the fans who support him. We will be doing our best to make Lee Min Ho’s concert not only a performance but a festival that he can create with the fans.”

The global tour Re:Minho, which began in Beijing, will continue in Guangzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai, China after Japan, before landing in Korea.

Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho’s new movie Gangnam 1970 about men’s loyalty and betrayal surrounding Gangnam area when Seoul was going under rapid development will premiere soon.
