Hallyu star Lee Min Ho heat up the winter in Shanghai.
On November 22, Lee Min Ho successfully wrapped up his global tourRe:Minho in the Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Arena with 10,000 fans. The Shanghai concert was the 6th concert of his global tour and the last concert held in China. He will be carrying the heat to Thailand and Korea afterwards.
The concert, which lasted for over two hours, was attended by fans of various ages and genders. Upon seeing Lee Min Ho appear on stage, some fans started crying while other fans started singing along. Getting excited by the heat of the concert, the fans all got up from their seats to dance, creating a celebratory mood from the beginning.
Starting the concert by singing Love Hurts, an OST of the drama The Heirs, Lee Min Ho sang the song with his sentimental voice before greeting the fans in Chinese. He then continued by singing My Everythingand Pieces of Love from his first album and played the video showing the landscape of Shanghai and his preparation for the new album Song For You.
Lee Min Ho performed all of the tracks from his second album Song For You, including Paradise In Love, Stalker, Burning Up and Travel, along with Lee Min Ho′s band, specially put together for the concert and presented collaboration performances with the rock band Royal Pirates.
As Re:Minho contains the meaning of a new beginning, Lee Min Ho showed his powerful and rough as well as sentimental and warm sides, presenting his dreamy and fantastic charms.
The Shanghai concert also caught attention with the event prepared by the fans. The fans all held up placards that said ‘Lee Min Ho Ni Zhen Bang,’ which means Lee Min Ho is the best. About ‘Ni Zhen Bang,’ which has been spreading like a trend, Lee Min Ho previously shared that it is “a special communication between the fans and I, beyond its meaning.”
Responding to the fans, Lee Min Ho also prepared a special event. Four fans, who have been selected from the SNS event with the topic of ‘unique Lee Min Ho fans around me,’ got the chance to meet Lee Min Ho on stage. Lee Min Ho played various games and hugged the fans, bringing out loud cheers.
Meanwhile, the finale concert of Re:Minho will take place in Kintex, Ilsan in January 2015 and the tickets will begin sales on November 25 at 7 p.m. (KST) through Interpark.
Lee Min Ho wrapped up filming the movie Gangnam 1970 and has been promoting actively all around Asia.
