Lee Min Ho Motivated By A Fan Who Lost Her Son


For Hallyu star and celebrity Lee Min Ho, he surely feels the weight of the crown, or a certain weight of responsibility, as shown in the subtitle of the recently ended SBS Wednesday Thursday drama "The Heirs": He Who Wishes To Wear the Crown, Endure Its Weight.

Lee Min Ho said in an interview, "Previously, I used to look through the Korean dramas and movies before I looked at international ones when choosing the next work. But I think it is the time to choose them equally."

Lee Min Ho added, "I have always felt responsible taking the role of a main character in my dramas, but I feel a greater responsibility these days."

The reason for feeling greater responsibility was a meeting with one international fan. The fan, grabbing Lee Min Ho's hands, said that she was consoled by Lee Min Ho's drama "City Hunter" and was able to overcome the sadness for losing her son. Lee Min Ho shared that, when the fan thanked her for filming "City Hunter," it made him look back on his previous dramas and movies.

In related news, Lee Min Ho picked the movie "Gangnam Blues" as his next movie.

"Gangnam Blues" is an action movie based on the Gangnam city of the 1970s. Director You Ha of "Once Upon A Time In High School" in 2004 and "A Dirty Carnival" inn 2006 wrote the scenario. Lee Min Ho plays the main protagonist with a tragic life story, and plans to show off his action skills. The movie production team is to start filming the movie in March premiere it near the end of 2014.
