Chilean fans help plant a forest in Lee Min Ho’s name

Fans from Chile helped plant a forest in Lee Min Ho‘s name!

The Patagonia region in Chile suffered incredible damage because of a huge forest fire that lasted from December to January. It burned through a huge area and destroyed tress and ruined many lives, so a Chilean Lee Min Ho fanclub named MINOZ came together to plant a forest in his name. The fanclub planted trees through the campaign ‘Reforestemos Patagonia (Reforest Patagonia)‘, which allows you to donate a tree for a donation of 2000 CLP (approximately $4 USD). You can even track the growth of the tree through a satellite system.

The fanclub has donated 263 trees so far, and named it ‘Lee Min Ho Forest’. The ‘Lee Min Ho Forest’ webpage reads, “We planted this forest to express our love for the Korean actor Lee Min Ho. We wanted to show him a beautiful Patagonia and hope for his visit.”

For more information on how you can donate to the cause, check out the Reforestemos Patagonia (Reforest Patagonia) website.
