Lee Min Ho and Kim Hee Sun fall into a trap on Faith

Lee Min Ho and Kim Hee Sun fall into a trap.

In the sixth episode of SBS TV’s drama series Faith, which aired on August 28, Choi Young (played by Lee Min Ho) and Yoo Eun Soo (played by Kim Hee Sun) fall prey to Ki Cheol (played by Yoo Oh Sung)’s plot on their way to visit the late king Kyung Chang (played by Choi Won Hong), who was exiled to a remote island.

On their way to Kyung Chang, Yoo Eun Soo teases Choi Young, saying, “How long have you been loving me?” She relies on him and he also takes good care of her. However, they get attacked by a group of assassins after meeting Kyung Chang in the island.

Choi Young and Yoo Eun Soo tries to leave Kyung Chang’s place in order to avoid the assassins, but the royal forces appear in front of them. This scene implies that Choi Young and Yoo Eun Soo will be accused of conspiracy against the country because they were taking Kyung Chang out of his house.

People responded: “Choi Young and Yoo Eun Soo were so cute.” “I love the dynamic action scenes, the attractive characters, and the story.” “I wonder how they’ll get out of the trap.”

In the preview of the seventh episode, Yoo Eun Soo tells Choi Young, “Can’t you go with me?” You don’t have to kill anyone there, so please go with me. To heaven.”

The busy filming schedule for SBS’ Faith is seemingly beginning to take a toll on Lee Min Ho.
On the August 29 broadcast of SBS’ Good Morning, the show paid a visit to the drama set of Faith.

During the special, Lee Min Ho was seen at one point filming a scene in which his character is laying down and receiving treatment. However, during a brief time in between shooting, Lee Min Ho was seen immediately falling asleep and eventually had to be woken up by a staff member.

When asked by the show if he was feeling tired, Lee Min Ho responded, “I want to sleep. Yesterday, because of another schedule I only had about two hours of sleep. I’m actually a person who sleeps quite a lot. I need usually 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night.”

Here’s hoping the actor finds plenty of time to rest in between!

Why Lee Min Ho Chose ‘Faith’ After Turning It Down

CJ E&M enewsWorld Kim, JiYeon

Lee Min Ho has come back on the small screen a year after the conclusion of City Hunter, and in Faith he’s again stealing hearts with his serious and sad character.
He was just a boy in Boys over Flowers, but he returned to his viewers as a man.

Choi Young, his character, also requires him to put on splendid action scenes, effectively showing how well-rounded this actor is. He’s the actor who calls women to their TV sets and leads Faith on its way to success.

Three years ago when he first received the offer to appear in Faith, however, Lee Min Ho turned it down, saying the character didn’t fit him. Why, then, did he decide to take up the offer in the end?

A rep from Lee Min Ho’s agency Starhaus Enertainment told enews on August 28, “The synopsis and content had changed from when we first met with Faith three years ago. More than anything, Lee Min Ho fell for the piece after reading its script. We turned it down at first, but in the end we decided to take it up.”

The story and content of Faith indeed changed a lot in the long time it remained in its preparation stages. Those changes were what brought the hallyu star Lee Min Ho to the drama.

The rep emphasized, “He turned down many love calls and chose Faith due to his trust in the piece.” The trust came from the collaboration of scriptwriter Song Ji Na and director Kim Jong Hak, who produced Hourglass and The Legend.

The choice turned out to be the right one. The drama started off with 9.4 percent viewership ratings (AGB Nielsen) on August 13, and has been grabbing attention from its viewers with every new episode for its interesting story and plot.

Lee Min Ho and Kim Hee Sun spend a night together in a mountain area.
In the sixth episode of SBS TV’s drama series Faith, which will air on August 28, Choi Young (played by Lee Min Ho) and Yoo Eun Soo (played by Kim Hee Sun) set off a long journey alone tricked by Ki Cheol (played by Yoo Oh Sung) and spend a night together in a mountain area.

In some snapshots of a scene from the episode recently released, Yoo Eun Soo is saying something to Choi Young, lying on a blanket, and Choi Young is staring at her with an expressionless face. These snapshots show different personalities of the two characters.

A spokesperson for Faith says, “Choi Young and Yoo Eun Soo will get closer to each other while they are on this long journey.”
In the sixth episode, Ki Cheol’s scheme gets revealed as Kyung Chang, Choi Young’s former master, appears in front of Choi Young, and Choi Young falls into danger again.

Lee Min Ho finally waged an all-out action war for his viewers.
On the August 27 broadcast of SBS’ Faith, Choi Young (Lee Min Ho) recovered from his fatal wounds and charged forth Choi Young style.

As soon as he gained consciousness, Choi Young heard that Eun Soo (Kim Hee Sun) had been taken away by Gi Chul (Yoo Oh Sung). Jang Bin (Lee Philip) tried to get Choi Young to stay put, saying that Eun Soo had gone on King Gong Min’s (Ryu Deok Hwan) orders.
Choi Young, however, headed into enemy territory to save Eun Soo. He put his life at stake to get over the obstacles and charge his enemies head on. He made it into Gi Chul’s home alone, and shook off the steady stream of Gi Chul’s minions as he progressed forward. Lee Min Ho managed to make Choi Young ever more charismatic and believable by putting on his best action scenes.
After the episode aired, the drama’s viewer boards saw a flood of posts reading, ‘I wasn’t expecting Lee Min Ho to put on action like this’, ‘He was like a flying master’ and ‘His kicks and slashes weren’t like any other. He’s the king of charisma.’
Choi Young also made his viewers curious about what he was thinking when he said he loved Eun Soo to make Gi Chul let her go.
Just before he was able to get Eun Soo completely out of Gi Chul’s home, Choi Young met with Gi Chul’s gang.
He pointed at Eun Soo and then shouted at Gi Chul, “This is because I love the one standing [here]. What kind of man would do nothing when the woman he loves has been dragged to this unknown place?”
Eun Soo took his words to be an expression of his true emotions, getting viewers to look forward to what will happen to their relationship in the future.

Lee Min Ho is given artificial respiration by Kim Hee Sun on Faith

The viewing rate of SBS TV’s drama series Faith went down.

According to the report from AGB Nielsen Media Research issued on August 28, the August 27 episode of SBS TV’s drama series Faith recorded a viewer rating of 10.6 percent. This is 0.9 percent lower than the August 21 episode’s, which was 11.5 percent.

Faith recorded the second highest viewing rate among the drama series airing at the same time.

In the latest episode, painful memories of Choi Young (played by Lee Min Ho) about his lover are revealed. Having suffered from aftereffects of a stab wound he received from Yoo Eun Soo (played by Kim Hee Sun), Choi Young eventually ceases breathing and faces death. However, Yoo Eun Soo tries artificial respiration, and he survives. The reason he has been unconscious despite the fact that he had successful surgery is because he has no will to live.

The fact that he had to let his lover Mae Hee go in the past has been ruining his life.

MBC TV’s drama series Golden Time recorded a viewer rating of 13.3 percent and KBS 2TV’s Haeundae Loversrecorded 9.1 percent.
